<Job Description>
[Within HSBC certain roles are designated as Enhanced Vetting Roles. For these roles, all internal and external applicants are required (subject to local laws), to pass satisfactorily a series of additional checks both as part of the application process and, if successfully recruited into the role, on an ongoing basis if they remain in such a role. The Group reserves its position with regard to any steps which it may take in relation to any material adverse findings which arise either when the checks are first carried out as part of this recruitment exercise, and/or if relevant, on an ongoing basis. This role has been designated as an Enhanced Vetting Role.]
1. Asset Services Team
- Reconciling the voting instruction for uploading into the KSD System
- Instruction inputting into excel for staff reviewing
- Filing and checking
- Printing and copy of document
- Support existing staff
- Tax document reviewing and filing
- Check the dividend payment date to make priority of reviewing of tax document
2. Cash Management Team
- To make transactions in relevant systems with vouchers from all teams in Direct Custody & Clearing
- To reconcile fund movement against brokers and outward message
- To confirm non inset fund with broker and check the stock for Bank of Korea In/Out thru Korea Securities Depository system and Bank of Korea terminal
- To reconcile Bank of Korea cash flow for Direct Custody & Clearing with request of relevant teams and to prepare report for Balance Sheet Management
3. Settlements Team
- Settlement proceeding based on client instruction
- To create vouchers for Stock Lending and Borrowing team
- Trade matching with counterparties through internal systems
- Client enquiry handling/communication with counterparties
<Qualification>
- Good command of English communication skills
- Strong team oriented attitude
- Customer service oriented attitude
- Good use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
- Knowledge on securities services area / Experience in financial area is preferred
- Good understanding of overall banking transaction and operational policy and procedure is preferred
