About the Role
Acoustic Systems Engineer will design, develop and tune new audio systems into cars. The role will leverage Harman's brand technology leadership in order to apply brand technologies into cars in order to create the best automotive audio systems in the world
What You Will Do
- -Tune audio systems for the automotive environment
- -Prepare technical reports and presentations for requirement
- -Support departmental initiatives and activities as directed by the department supervisor
- -Develop and document worldwide acoustic systems tools and best practices
What You Need
- -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Acoustics or Music Production/Technology required.
- -Detailed knowledge of acoustic theory, sound reproduction and sound system tuning is strongly preferred.
What is Nice to Have
- -Passion for acoustics and sound reproduction, musician, knowledge of recording arts
- -Understanding of best practice in product development and sound tuning
- -Experience in using and understanding audio tools
- -Excellent hearing capability
- -Basic knowledge of loudspeaker design
- -Strong problem-solving skills and being communicative
- -Fluent in English and Korean
What Makes You Eligible
- -Be willing to travel up to 30% international travel
- -Be willing to work in an office in Seoul, Korea
- -Drivers’ License
