• About the Role

  This position supports software testing for globally developed Automotive Infotainment System. It will have to understand strategic direction for global testing strategy and specific development project test strategy, and support System Test team to ensure proper test coverage in the most efficient manner possible.

  
  What You Will Do

  • Conduct system-level software testing for infotainment and Car Audio systems.
  • Apply specifications, user guides, use cases, comparable products, and previous known bugs to create and maintain test plans, test designs, and test cases.
  • Perform manual and automated software testing. 
  • Identifies software issues and register problem issues into the Elvis system with valid log files and data. 
  • Record and process with PC based tools and test instrumentation
  • Support local and other regional test groups when required

  
  

  What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred, but not required or 3+ years of previous experience in test engineering or sw development in automotive industry.
  • Understanding of functional and non-functional software testing and software test life cycle.
  • Intermediate level of speaking, writing and listening in English

  
  

  What is Nice to Have

  • Working knowledge of electronic circuit or mechanic.
  • Working knowledge of shell scripting or programming language.
