Vacancy Noticefor Position of PSP IG Associate (DigitalInfrastructure)

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)Representation in the Republic of Korea is inviting applications a position of PSP Associate (Digital Infrastructure) in line with the long-term growth plan ofthe private sector fundraising program.

 

I. Summary of Position   

ThePSP IG Associate (DigitalInfrastructure) will be responsiblefor developing and managing more effective and stable digital infrastructure.

 

II. Duties and Responsibilities

Underthe supervision of the Associate PSP Officer, the incumbent will perform thefollowing duties:

 

1. Leadand manage end-to-end digital infrastructure development and improvement projectincluding website revamp and digital sign-up.

2. Conduct internalneeds assessment and develop project scopes and objectives involving allrelevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

3. Collaborate withregion and HQ as well as internal teams to design, develop and implement projects.

4. Design a detailedproject plan and track progress.

5. Deliver projects"EN-GB" style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: #000000">

6. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

7. Create and maintaincomprehensive project documentation.

8. Perform other dutiesas required.

 

III. Required Qualifications  

1. University degree in ICT or related subjectsuch as computer science or engineering preferred (in lieu of degree, 2 yearsrelevance work experience)

2. Minimum 2 years of web developmentexperience or related experience

3. Proven working experience as a projectadministrator in the information technology sector or a relevant sector

4. Solid technical background, withunderstanding or hands-on experience in developing websites and webapplications

5. Sound knowledgeof modern web standards, including SEO principles, security, cross-browsercompatibility and accessibility

6. Goodunderstanding of web programming languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript

7. Good understandingof graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

8. Ability tomanage and build websites using the WordPress content management system

9. Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills both in Korean and English

10. Solidorganizational skills including attention-to-detail and multi-tasking skills

11. Ability to workindependently within a collaborative team environment

 

 

IV. Durationof Contract

5. Scheduled first working date:  August 2020
