<Job Description>
[Within HSBC certain roles are designated as Enhanced Vetting Roles. For these roles, all internal and external applicants are required (subject to local laws), to pass satisfactorily a series of additional checks both as part of the application process and, if successfully recruited into the role, on an ongoing basis if they remain in such a role. The Group reserves its position with regard to any steps which it may take in relation to any material adverse findings which arise either when the checks are first carried out as part of this recruitment exercise, and/or if relevant, on an ongoing basis. This role has been designated as an Enhanced Vetting Role.]
Sanctions Investigations Officer (행원~대리) & AML Investigations Associate (행원)
- As the Level 3 Alerts Investigator, review customer screening alerts in accordance with the relavant procedures and guidance to make decision of true or false match.
- For the closed alerts, conduct independant Quality Assurance (QA).
- Produce the customer screening MI and QA report.
<Qualification>
Sanctions Investigations Officer (행원~대리) & AML Investigations Associate (행원)
- Prefer work experience within banking/financial service industry (preferably in Financial Crime Compliance area).
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competent in English (Reading and Writing)
- Good data analytical skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office tools, e.g. Excel
- Good understanding of international Sanctions regulatory regime.
- Good understanding of the corporate structure and personal information handling.
- Preferably, experience in applying quality assurance model and preparation of MI data.
