As a Solutions Engineer at Milestone Systems in South Korea, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales process through technical expertise and ongoing enablement of our sales team. Your mission is to become a trusted advisor, seamlessly integrating Milestone's technical knowledge into sales strategies, and enhancing the capabilities of our sales employees and reseller network.
As the Solutions Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- - Technical Sales Support: Provide expert technical guidance in sales meetings and complex deals to ensure a successful sales process.
- - Reseller Enablement: Develop strong relationships with resellers, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively sell Milestone products.
- - Product Coaching: Continuously educate Milestone sales employees on product features and solutions to enhance their sales capabilities.
- - Lead Generation: Act as a trusted advisor to offer insights and generate leads for sales representatives, enhancing both new and existing deals.
What You'll Be Doing:
- - Cultivate close relationships with technical counterparts in reseller organizations.
- - Create and manage technical account plans to identify resellers requiring additional training and support.
- - Identify up-skilling opportunities and targets to enable resellers to sell Milestone products effectively.
- - Collaborate with sales representatives to plan and prioritize sales meetings, focusing on strategic deals.
- - Provide ongoing Milestone product coaching to sales reps, enabling them to independently handle more meetings.
- - Refine technical requirements and offer support in solution configuration for complex deals.
- - Partner with community managers and technical partners for solution discovery.
- - Conduct technical training for resellers during critical phases of the sales process or implementation.
- - Deliver proofs of concept and prototypes, including complex or non-standard demonstrations.
- - Update Salesforce (SFDC) in accordance with business rules.
- - Participate in sales events, webinars, and provide stage time support.
- - Address break-fix escalations reactively to ensure customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- - Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
- - Proven experience within the surveillance or related technology industry.
- - Experience working with technology partners.
- - Deep understanding of surveillance products and solutions.
- - Over 5 years of experience in technical support within the sales process.
- - Demonstrated ability to understand and drive sales strategies, with a proactive approach to identifying and closing opportunities.
- - Solid background in basic IT architecture principles.
